Dear Fr Jerome
Attending the celebration of Mass in Latin for the first time in many
years reminded me so vividly of my time as an 'Altar Boy' many years
ago when I was at school. The two occasions when I was with you when
you celebrated the mass in Latin, and when you gave such meaningful,
short sermons greatly and spiritually uplifted my heart and soul. For
many, many years I have never felt so spiritually happy as I did when
I was with you last weekend.
I am only sorrow that I wasn't able to be in Brighton for a longer
spell of time. I would love to have got to know you and your fellow
priest much better.
I would like to wish you well in your great task of building up a
Pastoral Mission in Brighton where you will be able to have a large
congregation whenever you celebrate the Holy Mass. I will be thinking
of you and offering up my prayers for your success.
I do hope that we might be able to meet again sometime in the future.

Dear Father Jerome, I just wanted to thank you so very much for conducting Brian's funeral the other week. It was a great pity that nobody was able to be there due to confusion re the date but I and some of his neighbours were delighted to hear of your homily and fond rememberance of him as a Big Issue seller, both at the Station and in The Lanes. We are comforted at least that he had a proper funeral and the best of wishes from the officiant. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your reply. It is really great news that I can register as a member of the parish. I only found out about the Old Catholic Church with it's Apostolic succession a few days ago and was thrilled to read of a mission in Sussex. After reading through the Church's beliefs on the website it's such good news that I can become a member of the Church. I will pull together all the documentation and fill in the registration form. I would like very much to celebrate the Formal reception in the future as well if possible. The fact that I can see the daily Mass online as well is such a great blessing too. My wife and I would like to visit Brighton to attend Mass at the church in the future too sometime. I would like to thank you for all your hard efforts to bring the Old Catholic Church within reach to people in England and the online daily Mass as a way to participate even from a distance.
