Ebeneezer Baptist Church
www.ebenezer-brighton.co.uk/#
Ebenezer is a Reformed Baptist church based in Brighton on the South Coast of England. Although the name 'Ebenezer' conjours up the image of old Ebenezer Scrooge from 'A Christmas Carol', the meaning of the word Ebenezer couldn't be further away from that Ebenezer actually means 'Thus far the Lord has helped us' (1 Samuel 7:12). This is something that the church has experienced over the years, but it is also something that each individual Christian has experienced in their own lives.

Down Your Drink
www.downyourdrink.org.uk/
Most of us drink. Some of us drink more regularly than others. But how often is too often? And how much is too much? The fact is, alcohol affects all of us differently. What is manageable for some can be a problem for others. Remember, drinking regularly may not mean you have a serious problem. It may only take a small change to make a big difference. This site is designed to help you work out whether you're drinking too much, and if so, what you can do about it.

Bereavement is indeed one of the most painful emotions the human body has to deal with during our lifetime. Daily life and living takes over and we now feel totally lost and very alone.

Blue Cross Pet Bereavement Support
www.bluecross.org.uk/web/site/AboutUs/PetBereavement/PBSSIntro.asp
Grieving for the loss of a pet, whether through death or enforced separation, can be a sad and difficult experience. Life once filled with the love and friendship of a pet, may suddenly seem very empty and feelings of despair and loneliness are not uncommon. Sometimes it helps to share these feelings with someone who knows from personal experience how distressing the loss of a pet can be, and who will listen with compassion and without judgement.

Child Bereavement Charity
www.childbereavement.org.uk/
The Child Bereavement Charity's ethos is to listen to families who have suffered the tragedy of bereavement - their experiences inform all our work. Families have told us that sharing their experiences is not only an effective way of expressing some of the complex emotions around their bereavement, but it also serves to lessen the sense of isolation they can so often feel when a death happens. Most families are encouraged to think that professionals can learn from their experiences and in this way enhance the care offered to other families who sadly will face such experiences in the future.

If you have reason to believe or even a vague suspicion that someone close to you may have a drug problem, we know how you feel. We know what it is like to be alone with this problem. We remember the feelings of panic and frustration that resulted from this discovery. We in Families Anonymous have experienced this too. We use first names only, as this is an anonymous programme. No dues or fees are required. The weekly meetings are regularly held throughout the year. Newcomers are welcome without prior arrangements. You will not be urged to participate in the group discussions, but may join in and ask questions if you wish. We do understand how you feel.
